David D. Roland, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Roland received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Loma Linda University in California in 1978. He received graduation honors from the Southern California Academy of General Dentistry, California Dental Association and the International College of Dentistry.
After graduation, Dr. Roland was given the unique opportunity to serve on staff with a church affiliated hospital in Hong Kong for three years before establishing his General Practice in the city. He served part-time as an Honorary Assistant Professor with the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Dentistry. After more than twenty years overseas, he returned to Loma Linda University and completed a 2-year Graduate program in Endodontics in 2002. While in attendance, he was elected to Who's Who among students in American Universities and Colleges. Dr. Roland received a Certificate and Master of Science in Endodontics from Loma Linda University and is currently Board Eligible.
Dr. Roland is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society and a Specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists. He has presented research projects both locally and at national meetings. He has authored and co-authored published papers and continues to actively assist the ongoing research at Loma Linda University where he also contributes as a part-time faculty member.
Dr. Roland and his wife Kerry have two children, Hugh and Louise. They actively enjoy tennis, skiing, travel and music.
